How a Return Works
It comes down to three steps:
- Reach out within 31 days of receiving your order, using the form at the bottom of this page or by emailing us at support@youcanic.com.
- We reply with your return instructions, and for domestic orders we send you a discounted return shipping label.
- Send the item back, and once it arrives and checks out, we get your refund moving fast.
The Details
Here is everything spelled out plainly, so you always know where you stand.
Your refund
You have 31 days from the delivery date to return your order. We refund the full price you paid. For domestic returns, the only deduction is the small cost of the discounted return shipping label we provide, so there are no other surprises taken out of your refund.
Getting your return on its way
Once our team confirms your return, please have the item in transit back to us within 4 days. That short window keeps your refund on track and helps us turn it around quickly for you.
Condition of the item
Open box is completely fine. We know you may need to open it to see what you have. To qualify for a full refund, the item just needs to come back to us in original condition, meaning not severely damaged, and complete with everything that came in the box. For a scanner, that means the all charging and connection accessories, and the original carrying case.
When you will see your money
As soon as your return reaches us and passes a quick check, we issue your refund within 24 hours to your original payment method. From there, your bank usually takes 2 to 3 business days to post it to your account. That last part is on their side, not ours, but we will always confirm with you the moment the refund leaves our end.
Restocking fee
Your first return is always free, with no restocking fee at all. If you order the same product again and return it a second time, a 10% restocking fee applies. That is the only time you will ever see one.
International orders
If an international order is refused or goes unclaimed, whether because of unpaid duties and taxes or a change of mind, we can only issue your refund once the carrier returns the product to us. In that situation, the original shipping charge is not refunded and a 10% restocking fee applies. We mention this up front so there are no surprises later.
