The Clip You Broke Pulling The Panel Is Probably In This Box.
Push retainers snap when you remove a fender liner, splash shield, bumper cover or door panel, and the job stalls until you have a replacement. This kit puts 100 nylon push retainers in six common sizes in a divided case, so the panel goes back on the same day instead of after a trip to the dealer parts counter.
Match The Clip Before You Order
This is a general assortment sorted by size, not a kit made for one vehicle. Clips differ by head diameter, shank diameter and the hole they fit. Pull one of your broken clips, compare it with the size chart in the product photos, and order only if you see a match. The six sizes cover the retainers most often used on bumper covers, fender liners, splash shields and interior trim.
Need a size that is not here? The 925 piece kit covers 26 sizes and includes four trim removal tools.
How To Replace A Push Retainer
- Lift the center pin first. Most push retainers release when the center pin is pried up a few millimeters; pulling the whole clip without lifting the pin is how they break. A nylon trim removal tool gets under the pin without scratching the panel.
- Match the size. Hold the broken clip against the chart and pick the same head and shank.
- Line up the panel holes, push the new clip in with the pin raised, then press the pin flush to lock it.
- Keep the leftovers in the case. The next liner or splash shield will need them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will these fit my car?
If your broken clip matches one of the six sizes in the chart, yes. The kit is sorted by size, not by make, so the chart is the only honest answer. If you are unsure, email a photo of your clip next to a ruler to support@youcanic.com.
Are these the same as the dealer clips?
They are aftermarket nylon retainers in the same common sizes. For trim, liners and splash shields that is all you need. For anything structural or safety related, use the manufacturer's fastener.
Why do my clips keep breaking?
Push retainers are designed to be cheap and sacrificial. Heat, age and pulling them without lifting the center pin all snap them. Keeping a kit in the garage is the fix, not a better technique.
Do I need a special tool?
A nylon pry tool makes removal cleaner and protects the paint. A flat screwdriver works in a pinch but will mark soft plastic.
What if the size I need is not in the kit?
Return it within 31 days, or step up to the 925 piece kit with 26 sizes.
