Two self adhesive protector strips for bumper corners and edges, the places that collect scuffs in tight garages, parallel parking and shopping center lots. Peel, press and they take the rub instead of your paint. Available in black to disappear on a dark bumper or red as a visible accent.
What A Strip Can And Cannot Do
A protector strip takes the light contact that scuffs clear coat: a wall you misjudged, a post you brushed, a shopping cart, a neighbor's bumper at parking speed. It will not stop a dent from a real impact, and it does not replace a parking sensor. Buy it for the scuffs, not for the crashes.
It is adhesive mounted, so it is only as good as the surface it sticks to. Clean, dry, original paint in mild weather holds well. Flaking paint, fresh wax, cold metal or a dusty bumper do not. Check the photos for the strip size and shape before you order; the set is two strips.
Install In Five Minutes
- Pick the spot. Hold the strip against the bumper corner or edge that gets hit and note where the ends land.
- Clean the area. Wash, then wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove wax and road film, and let it dry completely.
- Peel the backing and press. Start at one end and work along the strip so no air is trapped, then press firmly along the whole length for a minute.
- Give the adhesive time. Do it in mild temperatures and leave the car out of the car wash and the rain for a day so the adhesive sets.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it stop dents?
No. It absorbs scuffs and light rubs. A bumper that meets a post at any real speed will still dent, strip or no strip.
Will it damage the paint when I take it off?
On sound factory paint, adhesive strips come off with gentle heat from a hair dryer, a slow peel and an adhesive remover for any residue. On repainted, chipped or peeling areas, any adhesive product can lift paint, so do not stick it there in the first place.
Black or red?
Black blends into a dark bumper or black plastic trim. Red stands out, which some people want as a visual cue for the corner. Same strips, same price.
Can I put them on a door edge instead?
Yes, anywhere flat or gently curved that takes contact. Follow the same cleaning and curing steps.
