Why We Make Tools
We spent years filming repairs and answering the same question in the comments: which scanner do I buy? The parts store code reader sees the engine and nothing else, and the dealer tool costs more than the repair. Where The Videos Come From
The guides and videos are made in our own garage in the Baltimore area by mechanics who fix cars for a living, then checked against the factory procedures. The founder, Rushit Hila, is a licensed Professional Engineer and ASE certified, and the same standard applies to every product page in this store: the most helpful, accurate page we can write, with the limits stated plainly.
We also believe you have the right to repair the car you own. The FCA 12+8 adapter exists because a 2018 and newer Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or RAM locks its modules behind a security gateway, and we think an owner should be able to read their own car.
