One TPMS Sensor For Both Frequencies. Programmed By The Scanner You Already Own.
The YOUCANIC U360 is a blank, universal tire pressure sensor that covers 315 MHz and 433 MHz vehicles in one part. Program it to your vehicle with the UCAN-II Pro's built in TPMS module, mount it, run the relearn, done. No dealer sensor at dealer prices, no separate TPMS tool, no shelf full of part numbers.
Read This First: The Sensor Arrives Blank
A U360 does nothing until it is programmed for your vehicle. There are two ways to get that done:
1. You own a UCAN-II Pro (hardware version D). Program the sensor yourself in the TPMS menu, in about a minute per sensor, then run the relearn from the same screen. Earlier UCAN-II hardware (versions A, B and C) cannot program the U360, and TPMS tools from other brands are not supported. Do not buy this sensor expecting another tool to program it.
2. You do not own a UCAN-II Pro. Order the Pre Programmed TPMS Sensor Service ($45) instead. Send us the ID and frequency of the sensor you are replacing and we ship a U360 already programmed to match it, so on most vehicles the car accepts it as the sensor it already knows.
What A Replacement Sensor Usually Costs
| Option | Per sensor | What else you need |
|---|---|---|
| Factory sensor from the dealer | Commonly $50 to $120 | One part number per vehicle, plus dealer programming or relearn labor |
| Universal sensor from a tool brand | Commonly $30 to $60 | That brand's TPMS programming tool, often several hundred dollars |
| YOUCANIC U360 | $19.99, $17.49 each in sets of 4 or more | The UCAN-II Pro you already use for diagnostics, or our $45 pre programmed service |
Dealer and tool brand prices are typical ranges and vary by vehicle and retailer. A tire shop charges separately to mount the sensor inside the wheel, usually $15 to $30 per wheel.
What The UCAN-II Pro TPMS Module Does With It
Before The Tire Comes Off
- ✅ Trigger and read each existing sensor at the wheel: ID, pressure, temperature and battery state, so you know which one is dead before anything is dismounted.
- ✅ Program the U360 for the vehicle's protocol with a new ID, or copy the old sensor's ID onto it so the car accepts it without a relearn on many models.
After It Is Mounted
- ✅ Relearn. Write the new IDs to the vehicle over OBD, or walk through the manual relearn the vehicle calls for, from the same scanner.
- ✅ Verify. Read the TPMS module live data and confirm all four positions report pressure and the warning light is off.
The TPMS module is built into the UCAN-II Pro tablet. There is no separate dongle to buy and no TPMS subscription.
Pick The Valve For Your Wheel
| Valve | Type | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Black rubber | Snap in | The factory look on most steel and alloy wheels; the choice for most passenger cars and light trucks |
| Black metal | Clamp in, aluminum | Black, graphite and dark wheels; cars that came with clamp in valves from the factory |
| Silver metal | Clamp in, aluminum | Silver, polished and most factory alloys that came with metal valves |
Not sure? Look at the valve on the wheel now. A rubber stem with a cap means snap in; a threaded metal stem with a hex nut at the rim means clamp in. Match what the car has. Valves are replaceable, so a sensor is not wasted if you change your mind.
Programming, Installation And Relearn
Programming the sensor and teaching the vehicle its ID are two separate steps. Skipping the second one is the most common reason a new sensor "does not work."
- Program the blank U360 for the vehicle with the UCAN-II Pro, before it goes in the wheel. Choose a new ID, or copy the ID of the sensor being replaced.
- Dismount the tire and remove the old sensor and valve.
- Install the U360 and its valve at the correct angle for the wheel (the sensor body adjusts from 0 to 30 degrees) and torque the valve nut to the valve maker's specification.
- Mount and inflate to the pressure on the door jamb label.
- Run the relearn the vehicle requires: OBD relearn from the scanner, a stationary relearn, or a drive cycle, depending on make and model. If you copied the old ID, many vehicles need no relearn at all.
- Confirm that every position reports pressure in the TPMS live data and the light is out.
A tire shop can do steps 2 to 4 for you. Program the sensor first and hand it to them ready to mount.
Vehicle Coverage
The U360 covers the direct TPMS systems on most US market vehicles from the 2007 model year on, when direct TPMS became standard, on either 315 MHz or 433 MHz. Vehicles that use Bluetooth tire sensors (recent Tesla models, for example) are not covered.
To confirm your vehicle before ordering, open the TPMS menu on your UCAN-II Pro, select the year, make and model, and check that it appears under sensor programming. If it does not, or you do not have the scanner in front of you, email the year, make and model to support@youcanic.com and we will check.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a UCAN-II Pro to use this sensor?
To program it yourself, yes, hardware version D. If you do not have one, order the pre programmed sensor service and we program the U360 to your old sensor's ID and frequency before shipping.
Will an Autel, Launch or other TPMS tool program it?
Not supported. The U360 is built for the UCAN-II Pro's TPMS module. Buy it on that basis.
How many should I order?
One per failed sensor. Four for a new set of wheels, or when the original sensors are all past 8 to 10 years and the batteries are near the end. Five if your vehicle monitors a full size spare. Four or more drop to $17.49 each in the cart.
New ID or copy the old ID?
Copy the old ID when you are replacing one sensor and can read its ID from the housing or from the TPMS module; many vehicles then accept the new sensor with no relearn. Create new IDs for a second set of wheels or when the old IDs are unknown, then run the relearn.
Can I set up winter wheels with these?
Yes. Program four U360 sensors with the same IDs as your summer set and the car will recognize either set without a relearn on many models. Keep only one set on the car at a time and store the other away from it.
Rubber or metal valve?
Match what the wheel has now. Rubber snap in is the factory fitment on most cars and trucks. Metal clamp in is for wheels that came with threaded metal stems, and for looks on dark or polished wheels.
Can a tire shop install it?
Yes. Program it first, then hand it over. Any shop that mounts tires can install the sensor and valve. The relearn you can do yourself with the UCAN-II Pro afterward.
How long does the battery last?
More than 5 years in normal use. The battery is sealed; when it ends, the sensor is replaced, which is true of every direct TPMS sensor on the market.
What if my vehicle is not in the programming list?
Email the year, make and model to support@youcanic.com before you order. If it is not covered we will tell you, and you have not spent anything.
